Week 8 Part B: Your Instagram Hashtag Use

Hello bloggers and classmates! 

So this week I posted three times on my FINTAL Recruitment Instagram page. 
I created all my posts in Canva and I also shared them to my FaceBook page through my Instagram. 
The first post was about the work life balance topic which has certainly grown among candidates searching for jobs. Covid has changed the way we want to live and I don't think its a bad thing. I posted this on Sunday 10th October at around 10am. 

The second post was another post I created myself on Canva letting my followers know that we are hiring and if they are interested, then to get in touch today. As a recruitment agency, we will always be on the lookout for new candidates and I wanted to advertise just that. I posted this one on Thursday 14th October at around 12pm. 

The third post was a quote about the chances we miss out on in life. This is super important for candidates to understand. Recruiters have a bad reputation and I think it is always worth hearing them out, after all, they could be offering you your dream job or opportunity. I posted this on Saturday the 15th October at 3pm. 

The hashtags on each post had some similarities but also I changed a few depending on the topic of the post. The hashtags are as follows for each post: 
Post 1 - #recruiting #financerecruitment #worklifebalance #fintalrecruitment #opportunities #financecareers

Post 2 - #nowrecruiting #financerecruitment #fintalrecruitment #finance #opportunity #applywithin

Post 3 - #recruitment #dreamrole #dreamcompany #financerecruitment #fintalrecruitment #financegoals

Overall, I didn't notice much difference in the times or days I posted, however, this could be due to my low numbers of followers. I wanted to see if posting on a weekend, lunch times or after work hours would make a difference, but i was not able to see a significant difference for any of the three posts. 
I don't feel like I have necessarily learned anything from this assignment, but i did really enjoy creating the posts and trying to think outside the box. I like trying to imagine or create an image for my business that could turn into reality. I think i would need to add more followers to my network to see any real potential patterns when posting, but this is definitely something I would consider when this page and business becomes live.

Week 4 Part B: Defining YOUR Target Market

When identifying my target market, it is important to think who will benefit the most from my services or product. One thing i found when initially thinking about a Finance and Accounting recruitment company, and one of the reasons why i wanted to start t a company in this industry is that anyone who has a business, small or large, will have accounting needs. Week 3 Part B: Developing a Brand

Building a brand is an extremely important part of any business, it could lead to the success of the business if created correctly, but it could be detrimental to the business if created poorly. When I think of brands, I usually head straight to the larger companies such as Apple, Disney, Nike, Coca Cola etc but it is important to understand that any size company needs a brand, and they need to protect it. As Robert states in his article ‘How to build your Business in 5 steps’, that whether you’re a large corporation or a freelancer, the same five steps go into brand creation.
