Week 9 Part B: Using Categories
When it comes to categories for my business and target audience, there are many angles i could take for this. Although i am a Finance and Accounting Recruitment company, i can also branch out to make sure i include people looking for specific roles or categories!
The main and obvious category would be 'Recruitment'. This is the main industry that my target audience will be searching for. Whether this be the candidates looking for a new opportunity, or a company looking to make new hires. This category will be the most popular and most used. Another category which could be intertwined with this is 'Headhunting'. This is essentially another form of recruitment which is becoming more popular today, it is slightly more skilled and specialized in finding the most appropriate talent rather than posting an add on Indeed.
The next category I would say is 'Finance and Accounting'. This is the sector of which my company finds itself. We specialize in finance and accounting recruitment and we specialize in placing finance professionals across the US.
However, after this, I need to think about the industries we will concentrate on. One of the bonuses of specializing in finance and accounting roles, is that the majority of companies in the US and worldwide, will always need finance professionals. They need the business to be compliant with finance regulations and also utilize their cash. This makes it a great industry to work in, but i may need to figure out if I can specialize in another industry such as 'Finance and Accounting roles in Tech companies' or Healthcare companies etc. Something for me to think about.
Below are the two Instagram posts i created and posted this week:
Enjoy!
Hi Kate! Great categories for your recruitment posts. I particularly like your "what's your story" category. The audience can share their story to help them stand out, so companies can see how special and unique the person is and allow for trust-building and relationship development.
